Everything moves exactly as it does in chess. The difference: move the same piece three times and it learns a spell. Casting it uses your whole turn and empties the charge, so the piece must earn it again.
Shrouds a 3×3 patch for one turn. Your opponent sees cloud, not pieces — they may still move in blind, and capture whatever they hit.
One oversized L — 1+3 or 2+3 squares — landing anywhere that reach allows.
Slides its diagonal through anything in the way and burns it. Queens and kings do not burn — they stop the walk.
Raises three squares of stone for one turn. Nothing crosses it and no spell passes through it.
Annihilates every piece on the eight squares around her — yours too, but never a king.
Vanishes and reappears on any empty square on the board.
